The inspiration behind Look at Me Now: Stories of Hope came from a quiet walk around a local park during the pandemic quarantine. As we reflected on how the media seemed to paint a hopeless narrative of our future, we began to wonder: How can we show that the story doesn’t have to go this way?
During our conversation, we thought about the inspiring individuals we met along our Z-Cares journey—people who filled us with hope. What if we shared these stories with the world? From that walk, the vision for Look at Me Now: Stories of Hope was born.
Z-Cares is humbled to feature four courageous young individuals who open up about their raw, personal journeys towards hope. In this film, we follow their struggles with mental health, witnessing how they transformed their paths from despair to discovering a way forward.
This film is their story.
Each story proves that hope is possible. While each journey is unique, they share one powerful truth: talking about their struggles was the turning point that set them on the path to hope. We hope these brave individuals inspire you and remind you that you, too, can find your way.
